To make the decision easier, here’s our top recommendations for restaurants in Paphos. This is where we like to eat when we get time to unwind.
Costa’s Taverna, Koloni
A truly wonderful traditional Cypriot taverna. In our view, the most authentic place to enjoy a Cypriot meze in the Paphos area, featuring lots of local delicacies that are often missed from the menus of other tavernas. With dancing and music on offer too, it’s best to book early!
An excellent Cypriot taverna for those staying in Kato Paphos and who don’t want to venture too far.

A popular South African wine choice, offering a range of varieties.
A South African household name! We make our own peach chutney to include in our signature Monkey Gland sauce. But if you don’t have time for that, we highly recommend Mrs Balls’ version. Why don’t you check out the recipe for our Monkey Gland Sauce here, and try it yourself at home!
