The Lodge Restaurant has been awarded among the best restaurants in Cyprus as part of the Cyprus Best Restaurants Awards ‘Cyprus Gold Cap’ 2019 with 14.5 / 20 rating and Top Notch award.
Cyprus has a new gastronomic institution and… three Gold Boats available this year !! The glittering ceremony for Cyprus’s best restaurants took place on Monday, November 11th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol, bringing together the entire political, business and artistic world of the country and culminating in a high-end gastronomy dinner with the signature of the famous Chef Carlo Cracco .
The restaurants that were awarded on Monday, November 11, are the culinary distillery of a large, rocky safari that began in late 2018 and was completed shortly after summer 2019. During its time, more than 150 restaurants were tested, resulting from in-depth study and analysis of the gastronomic scene of Cyprus: Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Protaras and Ayia Napa, Paralimni, Troodos and Chrysochou were the eight areas of interest in which the “a” tasting group was re-populated repeatedly during the year and more than 1,600 dishes of every type of cuisine were rated one by one with strict international standards and the same criteria that evaluate Greek restaurants and taverns.
The best Cypriot restaurants, whether traditional or contemporary, received a Cypriot Cuisine Award, with restaurants rated from 14.25 / 20 to 14.9 / 20 being awarded the Top Notch Gold Award. Golden Cap was awarded the three restaurants rated 15/20.
